I’m Neil McBride, a British painter based in North Yorkshire, known for expressive crowd scenes and atmospheric landscapes.

Every painting on this site is an original — created in my studio, never outsourced. I work instinctively, allowing each piece to evolve as I paint, often uncovering narrative, movement and emotion as it develops.

Many of my paintings centre around crowds — gatherings, shared moments, and the quiet stories that emerge between people. Others are rooted in the landscapes of Yorkshire and the wider British countryside.
