Blossom Time | Full of the joys of spring

Blossom time is my happy time—when I become energised and full of optimism for the year ahead.

My appetite for more colour in my life is always sated at this time of year.

This painting is one of a pair I've produced by simply playing around with acrylic pens and seeing what emerges from layering colour and mark-making.

There's no predetermined plan, just experimentation and discovery. Inspiration happens when you're working, and this piece is the joyful result of that process.

I hope you enjoy losing yourself in it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
